What is a homeschool evaluation?

Homeschool evaluations are provide families with a clear understanding of how their child progressed during the school year. This is important to set up students for success for the upcoming years. Homeschool evaluations can also be submitted as evidence of progress to your district.

How do evaluations happen?

At Belvedere Center for Excellence, we provide a virtual outlet for parents to complete the evaluations. We meet your child(ren), discuss the school year, and review any work you would like to share. The evaluation will last 45 minutes then the report will be emailed to you within 3 business days. Your evaluator will provide credentials if you are submitting the document as evidence of progress.

Who can use this service?

All homeschooled students can benefit from an evaluation. We assist families with unique homeschool situations, families that are looking for an alternative to testing, families with gifted children, and families homeschooling children with learning differences. 
Meet the owner

Alexis McClain

Alexis is a dedicated education and mental health advocate. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology. As a homeschool mom, Alexis is passionate about fostering holistic development and integrating individualized learning and mental health awareness while considering children's psychological development. She recognized the need for educational choice and accessible resources. Alexis founded Belvedere Center for Excellence to empower other families by providing tools and support for children's education and well-being.
